A couple sunday's ago Tyler gave his farewell talk. I was nervous for him, only because I felt bad he had to give a talk. I just think of how nervous I usually get when I public speak, and then I re-create the nerves for myself.
Go me. Its exhausting.
Anyways, he did a wonderful job. So wonderful that he made me realize that he was going to be gone for two years and that I would miss him; so he got a few tears out of me. Boo. But I was so proud to call him my brother.
We then had a party afterwards.
There was plenty of delicious food, which I did not get any pictures of because there were way too many people there getting in. my. way. People like: tons of girls. They were everywhere!

Tyler and all of his buddies created this Passing of the Tie. All of them wear the tie for their farewell, then they sign the back with their names and the mission area they will be serving in and pass it along to the next kid. It is such a cool idea. I think there was five friends before him that wore it, and there are only a few friends left now. Elder Ian Stohl is next. |
